HYDERABAD: State BJP president and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, while welcoming the declaration of the election schedule by the Election Commission of India on Monday, said that there is a silent revolution taking place in Telangana and people are ready for change.

Addressing the media on Monday, Kishan Reddy said that the people would vote out the corrupt BRS by voting for the BJP. “People believe in Narendra Modi and will vote for a change in Telangana. The BRS and the Congress will settle for second and third places in these elections,” he said.

He said that the BRS never recognised the sacrifices made by the Telangana martyrs while those who worked against Telangana’s interests were enjoying the fruits of separate Telangana. “Those who worked against separate Telangana are now sitting pretty either in Pragathi Bhavan or in the State cabinet,” he pointed out.

He alleged that the ruling BRS had nefarious plans to subvert the people’s mandate with money and muscle power. “There are hardly 50 days left for the elections. We will work hard to drive away the BRS Government," Kishan Reddy said and added that the BJP had kept a comprehensive election plan ready to face the elections.
