BRS delivered most promises made to Munugode voters in bypoll, says KCR

MUNUGODE: The Congress party, despite ruling for 50 years, was unable to solve the fluoride problem in Munugode said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday.

While addressing a huge public meeting organised in Munugode in Nalgonda district Chief Minister KCR said, "We have fulfilled 90 percent of the promises made to the constituency earlier. We formed a revenue division and a hundred bed hospital is under construction. The Congress party, despite ruling for 50 years, was unable to solve the fluoride problem in Munugode.

Activists during Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure took Swamy to him but no cure was found for health problems caused by fluoride water. The fluoride water problem was resolved only after the BRS party came to power in this region.

"I urge the Nalgonda's citizens to remember those who supported Telangana and stood by leaders during the Telangana movement and vote carefully in the upcoming elections. Prabhakar Reddy, a prominent BRS candidate, demonstrated significant strength during the Telangana Movement, even facing jail time, and his hard work and determination should be rewarded. He should win with a huge majority, " said Chief Minister KCR.

He said, people prioritised development and irrigation over money, with drinking water and 24-hour electricity being the primary needs. Telangana was the sole Indian state that provides 24-hour electricity supply. Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, also experiences a 24-hour power outage, while Telangana did not, he added

KCR said, "Farmers in Karnataka are protesting after the Congress party failed to provide electricity for five years, despite the promise made by the Congress party. The future is determined by our vote, so it is crucial to make informed decisions about your future.

"We have implemented a number of welfare programs in Telangana. Telangana is the only state with the highest pension rates. We will provide 93 lakh ration cards, insurance to all families as promised in our manifesto. The completion of the Palamuru lift irrigation project will bring water to Dindi and Shivannagudem reservoir. I urge citizens of Nalgonda to vote consciously to demonstrate their consciousness as they did during the Munugode by-election and eliminate money grubbers, " said Chief Minister KCR.
