HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao declared that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would win more than 100 seats in the next Assembly elections, marking the state's 22nd anniversary of its foundation on Thursday.

BRS President KCR told party leaders during the party's Formation Day celebrations at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, "We won 63 seats in the first Assembly elections and 88 seats in the second Assembly elections." We will win more than 100 seats in the next elections this time."

To commemorate the party's 22nd anniversary, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the statue of Telangana Talli and unveiled the party flag. A meeting of party representatives was also conducted under the chairmanship of BRS supremo. BRS party representatives meeting began inaugural speech by BRS Secretary General and MP K Keshava Rao.

During his speech, which was followed by resolutions introduced by Minister KTR, the BRS supremo asserted that retaining power would not be difficult, but that the priority would be to get more seats. He said elections should be determined by choice rather than chance. "We're going to win by a thumping majority," he added.

KCR stated, "We achieved statehood for Telangana in a peaceful political process," while outlining the evolution of the BRS as a national party to meet the aspirations of the people of the country from realising the hopes of Telangana people as the TRS party. Telangana's success demonstrated to the country that anything can be accomplished through parliamentary methods."

"We are marching ahead with the Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar slogan to put the nation on the path of development and progress," Chandrashekhar Rao remarked.

"After the formation of Telangana state, we studied the development models used by many other states in the country and brainstormed how we should move forward," he added. Telangana outperforms Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu in terms of per capita income. Telangana has the greatest per capita energy use. Before 2021-22, the GST revenue was Rs.34,000 crore, and it was now expected to increase to Rs.44,000 crore," he remarked.

The Maharashtra government, according to the chief minister, lacked vision. "The Maharashtra government claims that if Telangana initiatives are implemented, it will fall bankrupt. The initiatives were successfully carried out by the Telangana state without going bankrupt", he added.

"Telangana state registered surprising growth in every sector, including electricity, roads, paddy procurement, agriculture, livestock, and fisheries," KCR stated. People from Maharashtra were visiting Telangana to witness how the state is progressing, he added.
