Class 10 girl dies by suicide over harassment by a boy in Ranga Reddy

HYDERABAD: An incident in which a class 10 girl student committed suicide after being harassed by a boy in the name of love came to light late in Ranga Reddy district.

A minor girl studying in Mir Khanpet High School in Kandukuru mandal, Ranga Reddy district was harassed by a student Kommagoni Nandiswar of same village. Despite warnings given to him by the girl's family six months ago, Nandiswar continued his harassment by moving around her house, causing her emotional distress.

Another student named Rajesh from the same village was reported to be harassing the girl on Instagram, using another student's phone to do so. Fed up by the continuous harassment, t hee girl ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her home.

Upon returning home from work, the girl’s parents discovered her lifeless body, wrapped in a saree, in the house. The local police initiated an investigation into the matter based on the complaint filed by her father. Three students, including Nandiswar and Rajesh, who are suspected to have played a role in her suicide, are currently being questioned by the authorities.
