CM Revanth Reddy visits KCR at Yashoda Hospital, wishes speedy recovery

Revanth Reddy said that he had asked the Chief Secretary and officials to ensure the best treatment and wished that KCR would recover fast and participate in the Assembly proceedings.

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who underwent hip replacement surgery and is recovering at the Yashoda Hospital at Somajiguda, on Sunday. Panchayat Raj Minister Seetakka and former Minister Shabbir Ali also accompanied the Chief Minister.


Former Minister KT Rama Rao received Revanth Reddy and took him to KCR. After spending some time with KCR, the Chief Minister inquired about his health condition with KTR and also with the team of doctors who were treating the former CM.

Speaking to media, Revanth Reddy said that he had asked the Chief Secretary and officials to ensure the best treatment and wished that KCR would recover fast and participate in the Assembly proceedings.

“I enquired about his health. I told him that the new Government needed his advice and direction. I also spoke with the team of doctors and they assured me that the former CM was recovering and responding well to treatment.”

Earlier, Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar met KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao, and Kotha Prabhakar at the hospital and enquired about the health of KCR. He said he visited an ailing person from his constituency and wanted to visit KCR.

“As KCR was undergoing treatment, I met KTR and wished for the speedy recovery of KCR. As a person who fought for Telangana, I have high respect for the former CM and thought I would pay respects to him. There is nothing political in my visit,” Ponnam Prabhakar said.
