HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has taken a key decision and has asked police officers to not block traffic for his convoy to pass.

Revanth Reddy held a meeting with police officials on Friday. In a note shared by the Chief Minister's office, Revanth had asked the police to reduce the 15 vehicles in the Chief Minister's convoy to nine.

Police officials were advised to come up with alternative measures to ensure that there were no traffic jams or that commuters were stopped for the Chief Minister's convoy to pass.

Revanth backed his decision and said that he would be conducting extensive tours to find out problems of the public. In this context, he asked police officers to suggest steps to avoid any trouble to the common public while he was travelling. He added that it was not possible for him to sit at home and ignore people's problems.
