HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka Mallu has urged the officials to expedite the completion of the Yadadri Thermal Power Project.

Bhatti, along with Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, visited the under-construction thermal power project in Damaracharla mandal, Nalgonda district, on Saturday. They held a review meeting with the project officials, who gave a video presentation detailing the current development works in the power plant.

Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, being familiar with the project from their tenure as MPs, emphasised their commitment to its progress. The Deputy CM directed officials to collaborate closely with the ministers to ensure project completion. Concerns were raised about the project's escalating budget burdening the state exchequer. He emphasised the urgency of completing the project to alleviate this financial strain.
