HYDERABAD: The leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has put Telangana on the world map, said Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao at American Telugu Association (ATA) Convention & Youth Conference 2022 on Saturday.
Addressing the people at ATA, he expressed his emotions on the unity of the Telugu people.
"After overcoming the hardships of the pandemic and long wait, the Telugu word festival is being celebrated. There is no greater joy than meeting our people and spending time like a family.
Telugu people all over the world are eager to watch the celebrations."
He said that ATA Mahasabhas were very special as these marked the symbol of unity among people. "It is an occasion to show that wherever we are, we have not forgotten our patriotism, our mother tongue, and our birth place." These Mahasabhas were a sign of faithfulness of Telugus that they did not forget their hometown.
He said that the Mahasabha reminded him of a song by Rayaprolu Subba Rao 'E deasamegina Endukalidina', which talked about patriotism and events like ATA were a symbol of remembering culture, language and country.
Ministers Niranjan Reddy, Malla Reddy, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita, MLAs Guvvala Balaraju, Ala Venkateswara Reddy, Challa Dharma Reddy, Mutthi Reddy Yadagiri Reddy, Ravindra Kumar, Chanti Kranti Kiran, Gadari Kishore and others participated in the celebrations.
