Farmer dies by suicide after crop failure in Bhupalpally in Telangana

BHUPALPALLY: Konda Ramesh, a 44-year-old farmer from Tekumatla in Bornapalli village, died by suicide due to heavy losses from his crops drying up.

According to the reports, Ramesh grew paddy on his two-acre agricultural land, but the lack of water in the final stages caused the whole crop to wither and suffer severe damage.

Facing huge financial setbacks, Ramesh went to Burnapalli Gutta near his farm and hanged himself from a tree.

The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.
