Farmer dies by suicide in Rajanna Sircilla district owing to financial problems

SIRCILLA: In a tragic incident in Rajanna Sirisilla district, a 48-year-old farmer hailing from Ragatlapalli village in Ellareddypet mandal died by suicide over financial burden.

Nettetla Mallaiah, who owned three acres of land, found himself caught in a distressing situation with debts amounting to Rs. 5 lakhs for his agricultural activities and an additional Rs. 10 lakhs for constructing a house.

Facing insurmountable financial pressures and unable to see a way out of his mounting debt, Mallaiah took the drastic step of ending his life. The farmer tragically ended his own life by hanging himself from a tree near his farm, leaving behind a community in shock and mourning over the loss of a member who fell victim to the harsh realities of indebtedness and financial strain.

The police have registered a case and investigating it further
