HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and Telangana Industries and IT Minister KT Rama Rao has said that he will be happy to lose his MLA seat once the Women's Reservation Bill is passed in the Parliament.

While inaugurating the International Tech Park in Madhapur, KTR told a foreign woman delegate, "The Indian Parliament is discussing the Women's Reservation Bill which we welcome whole-heartedly. We want to see more and more women leaders and I have to lose my seat for it, so be it. We all have a limited shelf life, I have done my thing."

During the event, KTR told delegates that Hyderabad was an ideal area for investments.

"The city has reached the level of producing vaccines for the world. More than 40 percent of the pharmaceutical products in the country come from here. There is no shortage of talent here. Hyderabad will soon become a life sciences hub. We will stand by companies who come forward for investments," he said.
