HYDERABAD: Former Minister T Harish Rao urged the State Government to immediately release the salaries of more than 60,000 employees working in 12,769 village panchayats in the State.

Taking to X, Harish Rao said that these workers were not paid for several months and were facing severe financial constraints. "They belong to weaker sections of the society and are poor. They maintain sanitation in villages. Please understand their plight and release salaries," Harish Rao said.
