Inter-Ministerial Central team for on-the-spot assessment of flood impact on Telangana

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced an Inter-Ministerial Central team led by Kunal Satyarthi, Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and directed it to visit the rain-ravaged State of Telangana on July 31, 2023.

The team comprising of members drawn from Agriculture, Finance, Jala Shakthi, Power, Road Transport and Highways ministries and experts from the National Remote Sensing Centre (Department of Space) would be visiting the State to assess the damage and also the relief works carried out by the State Government so far.

The Inter-Ministerial team would revisit the State after the final submission of the report by the State Government if needed.
