HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for Power Jagadish Reddy, on Wednesday, condemned TPCC President Revanth Reddy’s comments of performing Pinda Pradhanam, a death ritual, for Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Jagadish Reddy said that it was the Congress and the TDP who obstructed the formation of Telangana and Revanth Reddy, belonging to those parties, had no right to pass such comments against the man who fought for the State.

Jagadish Reddy said that effective governance, implementation of welfare schemes, and overall development of the state, which made the people of the State happy and that people would perform death rituals for the Congress party, who were always against the State's interests.

Calling the Congress an uncultured party, Jagdish Reddy said that Revanth Reddy was mocking the people of the State by criticising KCR. He said that no one, including Revanth Reddy's family, would have tolerated such comments.

Jagdish Reddy said that the people would revolt against the TPCC President if he continued to pass such comments. He demanded an apology from Revanth Reddy to KCR as well as people of the State.

Speaking about the passing away of Gummadi Vittal Rao (Gaddar), Jagadish Reddy said that Gaddar had worked hard for the State’s formation. He said that Revanth had no morals for turning Gaddar’s death into politics.
