HYDERABAD: The official residence of Telangana Chief Minister Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan (previously Pragati Bhavan) has now been allocated to Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday.
Santhi Kumari, Chief Secretary to the Government, issued an official GO on Wednesday designating the accommodation for Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
The official GO reads, "The Government Residential Building at Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan, Begumpet, Hyderabad, is hereby allotted to Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Deputy Chief Minister, finance & planning, energy, Government of Telangana State as his official residential accommodation."
The Executive Engineer (R&B), East Buildings Division, Hyderabad will hand over possession of the above Residential Building to the Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister, with notification to this department and also to the estate officer, Hyderabad, for placement of the said building at the disposal of the said authorities.
The Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister for Finance & Planning, Energy, Government of Telangana was requested to inform the Executive Engineer (R&B), East Buildings Division, Hyderabad/G.A.(Accom.A) department/estate officer, Hyderabad of the date of occupation of the said allotted Building by the Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Telangana.
