Happy Birthday KCR: BRS celebrations galore in Telangana and beyond

HYDERABAD: As Telangana Chief Minister and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao turned 69 on Friday, February 17, 2023, leaders of the BRS extended their greetings to him and celebrated the occasion in various ways across the State.

Though there weren’t any major public meetings or rallies taken out by the BRS leaders or supporters, the State celebrated KCR’s birthday according to their beliefs and interests, which would definitely have made the Chief Minister extremely happy.

KCR’s son and the State’s IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao unveiled a biography of KCR which was written in braille language. At an event in CMO, KTR listened to the braille narration of the book. KCR’s daughter MLC K Kavitha performed special poojas for her father at the Balkampet Yellamma temple. She said that she prayed for his long and prosperous life.

In fact, Kavitha was among the first to ring in KCR’s birthday at the stroke of 12 am post Thursday night when she joined the celebrations and cut a cake at an event held at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad.

Telangana’s Health and Finance Minister T Harish Rao, along with other BRS members, cut a cake in the Siddipet Camp Office on Friday and expressed their love for the Chief Minister. T Harish Rao also participated in a blood donation camp.

Minister for Law and Forest Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Minister for Labour and Employment Malla Reddy, MP Joginapally Santhosh Kumar and other BRS leaders planted saplings, to wish the Chief Minister as well as to promote KCR’s ideology of a greener and cleaner environment. Malla Reddy and Santhosh Kumar also performed special poojas at the Keesara temple.

Goshamahal BRS leader Gaddam Srinivas Yadav, under the auspices of Gaddam Gangadhar Foundation cut a cake with the students of Alia School in Abids where the children wore masks of KCR. Gaddam Srinivas, other BRS leaders, school staff and children wished for KCR’s healthy and happy life.

The Dalit and Tribal Minority community in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur also wished the Chief Minister, along with BRS Leader Ravela Kishore Babu. They cut a 69-kg cake on his 69th birthday. They said that KCR’s Dalit Bandhu scheme should be implemented across the country and the BRS would soon be elected in Andhra Pradesh and other States too. A milk bath to a KCR portrait was also given to express their admiration for their leader.
