DELHI: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) central office was inaugurated by the party supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in Vasant Vihar of Delhi on Thursday afternoon. Priests and Vedic scholars who performed the puja blessed KCR and party senior leader K Keshava Rao, ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy, Srinivas Goud and others on this occasion. Later, he cut the ribbon at the main door of the office and sprinkled sacred rice at the entrance as per the religious traditions.

After the traditional rituals, KCR headed to his chamber on the first floor where he assumed his seat. He was greeted by Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Guttha Sukhender Reddy, ministers and other party leaders on this momentous occasion.

All the main arteries leading to the BRS office in Vasanth Vihar, Ashok Road and the surroundings of Telangana Bhavan have been adorned with the trademark pink flags of the party and flex banners. The rooms inside the BRS office including the President’s chamber, conference hall and other special enclosures were also bedecked with flowers which added their bit to the festive atmosphere there.

In view of KCR’s visit, elaborate security arrangements have been made at the BRS office and in its vicinity.
