NARSAPUR: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao criticised the Congress Government for diluting the ‘Rytu Bandhu’ scheme by imposing several conditions.

Addressing a roadshow in Narsapur, he said that the Government which was mulling to restrict distribution of Rytu Bandhu financial assistance to five acres, also would release funds if the land was under cultivation.

“Now Revanth Reddy says that he would not give Rytu Bandhu if the land is not under cultivation. But BRS implemented the scheme for all without conditions so farmers recover from years of injustice,” KCR said.Terming the release of Rytu Bandhu after the commencement of agricultural season a big joke, KCR said that the Congress Government had no plan or road map for the way forward.

“The Government would also escape from implementing the 10 percent reservation that the BRS announced for the tribals in education and jobs. The Government is acting indifferent from the ongoing TSPSC group-1 issue,” KCR said.

He said that while the farming sector was facing lack of irrigation, the industrial and IT sector in Hyderabad was in the grip of power outages and severe shortages of drinking water.

“What happened to the Mission Bhagiratha that we have implemented successfully? We provided a special link to Narsapur with the Mission Bhagiratha from Komatibanda. The Congress is even delaying the canal work linking Mallannasagar with the Narsapur Constituency,” KCR said.

Pointing out that the country went backward during the ten-year rule of Narendra Modi, KCR said that the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar sunk to its lowest level during the BJP rule.

“Modi won't care about the poor. He is worried about his crony capitalists. Modi was responsible for the death of 700 farmers during the agitation that erupted against the black laws he introduced,” KCR observed.

Exuding confidence that BRS Medak candidate Venkatrami Reddy would win the election with a bumper majority, he said that BRS MPs would strengthen the hands of KCR so that he could do more for the State.

Later, addressing another roadshow at Dundigal on the way to Patancheru KCR said that the land prices fell drastically after Congress took over the reins in Telangana.

“Prime Minister said that Revanth Reddy is collecting RRR tax from real estate to send money to Delhi. The corruption of the Congress Government hit the image of Telangana very badly,” KCR said.

He said that the arrest of Kavitha and Delhi CM Kejriwal also attracted worldwide criticism of Narendra Modi’s Government.

Addressing the roadshow at Patancheru, KCR said that the BJP projected Pakistan as an enemy to pump up emotions. “Pakistan is a puny country in front of our mighty army. So don’t get emotional,” he said.

He recalled that Patancheru developed leaps and bounds because of the industrial policy of the BRS Government and abundant power. “For real estate in Patancheru or Kollur, the CM is not granting building permissions. He is charging Rs 75 per square foot I heard,” he said.
