HYDERABAD: After a series of confabulations and meticulous planning, Bharat Rahstra Samithi (BRS) supremo K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will be hitting the road to take the party campaign into a top gear. KCR held a series of meetings with party seniors, including working president K T Rama Rao, former Finance Minister T Harish Rao, former Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and others and finally came up with a campaign plan.

KCR will commence his tour of Telanagana on April 24. It is said that he would meet farmers at their farm fields during the day time and understand their woes as the crops were badly hit because of scarcity of water. The BRS is already campaigning that the lack of planning and lack of concern for the farmers among Congress leaders and, of course, the State Government. KCR is likely to explain how he had ensured availability of water in the reservoirs and tanks and how the Congress Government "mismanaged" the same with a "knee-jerk" reaction by draining out water from. the massive Kaleswharam project instead of taking emergency steps to protect the barrage and also ensure water supply.

The BRS has already made irrigation, agriculture, drinking water and power supply as their four major campaign points. The publci meetings and roadshows by KCR would highlight these issues confronting the people and how the State was plunged into misery on these four most important issues in barely four months.

The BRS, late on Saturday evening, released the schedule of KCR's campaign trail.

April 30 - Tallada - 5.30 pm; Kothagudem - 6.30 pm (night halt)

May 1 - Mahabubabad - 6 pm; (night halt at Warangal)

May 2 - Jammikunta - 6 pm (night halt at Veenavanka)

May 3 - Ramagundam - 6 pm (night halt)

May 4 - Mancherial - 6 pm (night halt at Karimnagar)

The campaign of the BRS supremo concludes in a massive public meeting in Siddipet. The party may also consider organising a few public meetings in some important places. However, it is still at discussion stage. The BRS has released a promo video for KCR's tour with a title "Telangana Bapu". The former Chief Minister also indicated that he would espouse the people's cause and impale the foibles of the Congress Government during his tours. KCR himself asserted that the people would the KCR of Telangana agitation days.
