HYDERABAD: K.T. Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology and Industries, inaugurated four firms, including LTI Mindtree, Genpact, HRH Next, and Hexad Solutions Pvt. Ltd on Friday in Hanamkonda.

Following the inauguration, the Minister presented appreciation letters to business leaders for establishing their operations in Hanamkonda.

Speaking after the inauguration, Minister KTR encouraged the youngsters from Warangal to fulfill their dreams utilizing the opportunities these companies provide and also explore avenues for Entrepreneurship.

Hyderabad has achieved major advances in information technology by attracting top worldwide businesses including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Uber, Micron, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and UBS. Mahindra, MRF, Olectra, Mythra, and Race Energy have additionally established new locations in Telangana. ZF, Frisker, Stellantis, Hyundai and Biliti set up their campuses in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad has become a preferred destination through establishing a policy framework, infrastructure, and access to human capital. Telangana to surpass 2.2 lakh crores in exports in 2022-23, representing a close to 20 percent increase year on year from 1.83 lakh crores. With a total employment of 785,614 direct employees in 2021-22, the IT sector added over 1.5 lakh jobs in 2021-22 alone.

As part of the vision of Telangana, the plan was to spread the growth across Telangana, not limiting this to Hyderabad Northwest Corner – Hitec City and Gachibowli. Telangana Government has rolled out GRID ( Growth in Dispersion) and Rural development policies to spur the growth across Telangana.

Telangana State has already launched IT Centres at Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam as part of that goal, which were already functioning and creating local jobs with a multiplier effect on the local economy.

As an extension of that policy, the Telangana government plans to open IT Towers in Mahabub Nagar, Siddipet, Nizamabad, and Nalgonda by July 2023, in order to put up the following IT Towers to cater to the rural growth of IT.

Four newly inaugurated firms in Warangal

Genpact – Already hired 400 associates from the local colleges. KTR started the discussions with Genpact about 18 months ago with their CEO Tiger Tyagarajan in 2021.

LTI Mindtree – Already hired 60+ associates from the local colleges.

HRH Next – Company already hired 120 associates at Warangal. Planning to grow this to 500+ in the coming months.

Hexad Solutions Group – already hired 50+ people at Warangal Design Center offering engineering and design services to Wireline, Wireless and CATV communications.
