KTR inaugurates IT Tower in Mahbubnagar

The building consists of 44 office spaces, 10 conference halls, an Innovation Centre, a Knowledge Hub and a Cafeteria

HYDERABAD: Telangana government is taking regular steps to bring the IT sector to the state's Tier-II municipalities. IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao, along with Minister V Srinivas Goud, inaugurated the IT Tower in Mahbubnagar on Saturday as part of the aim to expand the IT boom across the state.

The Industries Minister said that the proximity of the facility to Hyderabad and Shamshabad airport would attract companies to establish their operations in the area.

The IT tower in Mahbubnagar is spread across four acres and comprises of G+Four floors where firms and the State Government's innovation ecosystem were given space to put up their offices or hubs.

The building consists of 44 office spaces, 10 conference halls, an Innovation Centre, a Knowledge Hub and a Cafeteria.

KTR also inaugurated Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge's (TASK) centre, facilitation centres of T-Hub and WE-HUB located in the building. Besides this, seat allocation letters were handed over to nine companies, to set up their operations at the facility. The companies include Mueller dotKonnect, Amara Raja Group, Zuven Technologies, Intuites LLC, Urpan Technologies, E-grove Systems, IT Vision 360 Inc, Four Oaks Inc and BCDC Cloud Centers Pvt. Ltd.

In order to achieve the goal of spreading IT growth throughout the state, the BRS government established IT Towers in Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam. The IT Tower in Mahbubnagar is the most recent addition to this endeavour. IT Towers in Nizamabad, Nalgonda, and Siddipet would open in the next few months. These IT Towers would not only provide jobs for rural youngsters, but they also reduce migration to larger cities, stimulate local companies, and contribute to the State's equitable development.

Eco tourism park opened

Tourism minister V Srinivas Goud inaugurated a forest safari. KTR and Srinivas Goud travelled in the Safari vehicle. The ministers observed the forest from watch tower, braving rain. KTR lauded the efforts of the Tourism Minister in creating a large eco tourism park in Mahbubnagar. The ministers went on the Safari ride. The ministers also inaugurated a Shilparamam, a handicrafts village, in Mahbubnagar
