HYDERABAD: Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao has launched Johnson Control's Innovation Centre at Hi-Tech City on Tuesday.

Speaking at the launch KTR said, "Telangana can be the single-stop destination for Johnson Controls and the only gateway to India. Telangana is progressive and Hyderabad has grown well and the city provides a lot of growth opportunities." He assured the Company that the government would be loyal to investors. He said that those who set up manufacturing units would definitely be given incentives.

The companies which were increasing the revenue of the state by providing employment opportunities to the youth would be encouraged. Several policies had already been introduced for those investing locally and setting up manufacturing units.

"Our vision for the new OpenBlue Innovation Centre in Hyderabad is to further strengthen Johnson Controls' comprehensive building security portfolio," said Dave Pulling, president and general manager, Global Security Products, Johnson Controls. "The new OpenBlue Innovation Centre reinforces Johnson Controls commitment to innovation and delivering best-in-class solutions for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings – to India, from India."
