KTR sends legal notices to 10 more social media channels, including Youtube for spreading fake news

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president Kt Rama Rao on Saturday sent legal notices to ten more TV and social media channels for spreading baseless and demeaning news against BRS and its leaders.

Many of those who had received the earlier notices sent by the BRS fell in line and removed those offensive videos and reels.

The social media channels that BRS sent notices on Saturday include Mahaa News, I News, Cr Voice, Mana Tolivelugu TV, Manam TV, Poly Tricks, Revanth Dandu, Wild Wolf News, Red TV, and YouTube.

The BRS also warned the news channels that the party would not hesitate to slap defamation cases against them if they continued with the spreading of canards with malicious intentions. The BRS working president said that the party would not tolerate the deliberate use of images of BRS leaders in reports that they had no connection with. The party in its notices mentioned that the tirade against the BRS and its leaders was unleashed by vested interests under an agenda.
