Man kidnapped, beaten to death in Ranga Reddy district

HYDERABAD: In a horrific incident, a person was kidnapped and beaten to death by unknown assailants in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday night. The assailants left the deceased's dead body on the road and fled the scene.

According to reports, Karunakar Reddy from Kothur of Ranga Reddy district was traveling in a car along with another person. A gang of four waylaid their vehicle before abducting Karunakar. The assailants assaulted the other person before taking Karunakar to a desolate place.

There, the four-member gang launched a brutal attack on Karunakar Reddy, leading to his death. The assailants later left the body on the road and fled away.

The family members of the deceased filed a complaint with the police, alleging that a local public representative is behind the kidnap and murder. The police registered a case and began their investigation into the incident.
