BHADRACHALAM: In a bizarre turn of events, a man married his two women partners at a single wedding at Erraboru village of Charla mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Wednesday night.

According to reports, Madivi Sathi Babu and Swapna Kumari were in love when they were studying a few years ago. Despite becoming physically closer, they could not get married for reasons beyond their control. Even after having a baby girl, the two parted ways and have been living separately.

Sathi Babu later fell in love with another girl Sunitha from Kurnapalli village and as a result, the two have been in a live-in relationship. As fate would have it, the two were also blessed with a son. But the twist in the triangular love story came when Swapna Kumari heard of Sathi Babu’s latest love affair. Knowing that he was in a relationship with another girl, she approached Sathi Babu’s elders for justice. As things turned out, with the consent of the elders, the three decided to live together in the same house.

The elders of the three families subsequently amicably decided to get the trio married and scheduled the marriage for Thursday morning at the auspicious muhurtham of 7:30 am. However, as the news of the sensational marriage has gone viral and attracted the media glare, the families hurriedly performed the wedding rituals on Wednesday night itself. When the media representatives went to Charla village on Thursday morning to cover news, they were informed that it was not a wedding but an anna prasana (rice-feeding) ceremony for the kids.

However, videos of Sathi Babu tying the nuptial knot to both this lovers and live-in partners on Wednesday night, have also been circulating on social media platforms.
