Newborn girl found abandoned in bushes in Mulugu, rescued

MULUGU: In a shocking incident, a newborn girl was found abandoned in the bushes at Patrapuram village of Venkatapuram Nooguru mandal in Mulugu district.

The incident came to light after locals who who were passing by, heard the baby crying in the bushes and informed the authorities. They informed that unknown people, probably parents, left the newborn girl in the bushes and went away.

The officials rescued the baby and took her to the hospital where doctors revealed that her health condition was stable.

Meanwhile, the officials suspect that parents might have left the baby in the bushes after being disappointed over birth of a girl child.
