HYDERABAD: To give the much-needed elixir to the sagging morale of workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Telangana unit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing two public meetings in the poll-bound State in October.

The Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Mahbubnagar on October 1 and the second one in Nizamabad on October 3. State unit general secretary Premender Reddy called the meetings of the PM as game changers and told media that the PM would be announcing a series of developmental activities at the public meetings.

While the party had kept four separate themes ready for the PM’s meetings in Telangana, it was reported that Narendra Modi would declare setting up the much-awaited Turmeric Board during the public meeting at the Government Giriraj degree college in Nizamabad on October 3.

This would be followed by similar programmes to be addressed by BJP national president JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Nadda would also address a day-long state executive meeting in Hyderabad on October 6.

Leveraging the benefits of the women's reservation bill, the party would also hold a ‘Nari Shakti’ meeting in the State which would be attended by women cabinet ministers. The BJP also planned public meetings aimed at gathering people from ST communities in the State
