HYDERABAD: With the ongoing developments in Telangana BJP and the allegations that the BJP and the BRS parties are working hand in glove, Dubbaka MLA Raghunandan Rao off the record expressed his disgruntlement over the various issues happening in the BJP in particular and in Telangana politics in general.

In an audio recording leaked, which sparked a row, the Dubbaka MLA was heard expressing his views on the State president. He questioned what qualification Kishan Reddy had to be made as the state president and what he lacked from getting the highest position. He said that there was false propaganda being spread against him saying that he (Raghunandan) was inclined to KCR due to caste reasons. He also made sensational comments saying that he would think of alternatives when he was not satisfied.

Responding to the allegations on the BJP and the BRS working together, Raghunandan Rao refuted the allegations pointing out at the Akhilesh Yadav's meeting with KCR and made serious comments on the Congress party saying that the TDP supporters were working to make Revanth Reddy the Chief Minister to get their purpose served.

He said that there would be a clearer picture in the next two months on who would have the strength to fight the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that the BJP would show its strength and hit back at the false allegations spread by a section of the media. Denying the rumours of him being sold out to other parties, the BJP MLA recalled the statistics and stated that he was the one who had won with his charisma in Dubbaka and questioned why Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy had not won despite spending Rs. 100 crores, besides Amit Shah's support.

He asked what happened to Amit Shah's poll management skills in the Munugode elections.

Raghunandan Rao also expressed dissatisfaction over the decision-making process of the BJP high command, particularly the shuffling of leaders between ministerial and party posts. He mentioned that following the Kamaraj Nadar policy implemented by Indira Gandhi would have been a better approach while making changes within the party.

Dubbaka MLA was enraged at BJP president JP Nadda for his ignoring the party’s floor leader in the Telangana Assembly.
