Rahul Gandhi to take part in Congress bus yatra in Telangana from October 19

HYDERABAD: The schedule for the proposed bus yatra of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) covering all 119 constituencies is almost ready and an announcement is likely on October 10 after the political affairs committee meets at Gandhi Bhavan.
While the dates for Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s participation in the bus yatra were announced, it was reported that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra would be launching the yatra and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi would participate in the public meeting on the last day of the yatra.
The TPCC has confirmed that Rahul Gandhi would take part in the yatra for three days, October 19, 20 and 21, 2023. Chief Ministers from the Congress-ruled States, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders Jairam Ramesh and Digvijay Singh would also take part in the yatra in different constituencies as a show of strength.
The party would take the six guarantees that it declared during the Tukkuguda public meeting into people throughout the yatra. Plans were drawn to organise at least one street-side public meeting in every important town in all the 119 constituencies.
