Raja Singh complains to DGP about life threat to himself, Yogi Adityanath

HYDERABAD: Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh has alleged that he has received threat calls from unknown numbers claiming to eliminate him and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and that his family will be harmed.

In a letter to the Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar on Wednesday, Raja Singh said, "Furthermore, they mentioned a plan to harm me and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath Ji, during his election campaign in my Goshamahal Constituency, which is scheduled to occur soon. The call duration was approximately 6 minutes.

"I request the your department to take immediate action on this matter. I have already commenced my election campaign and Padyatra in my Constituency, and a considerable number of people are visiting my office for election-related purposes. I trust that the Director-General of Police and the police department will prioritize this issue to prevent any untoward incidents," the MLA said.
