VIKARABAD: Calling upon Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) cadre not to entertain leaders who have shifted their loyalty to other parties, BRS working president KT Rama Rao said that the Congress had fielded many BRS turncoats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a cadre meeting in Vikarabad on Wednesday KTR said that K Chandrashekar Rao nurtured G Ranjith Reddy, Vishweswar Reddy, Etela Rajender, Bura Narsaiah, Aroori Ramesh, Kadiyam Kavya, Patnam Mahender Reddy and Danam Nagender but they left the party when it needed them the most.

“I would like to nominate Ranjith Reddy and Mahender Reddy for the Oscar awards. They can beat even a chameleon in changing colours. They said many a time that they had no plans to leave BRS,” KTR said.

Stressing the need to segregate religion from politics, he said that the BJP was trying to entice people with religion. “ We pray Lord Rama and believe in him but we will not use his picture to attract voters like BJP,” he said.

He said that Ranjith Reddy and others who left the party were found making frantic calls to the BRS cadre urging them not to attend BRS meetings. “Don’t entertain them. Tell them that they have left the BRS and the party will never believe them,” the BRS working president said.

He urged the cadre to work hard for the victory of Chevella Lok Sabha candidate and BC leader Kasani Gnaneshwar who joined BRS to strengthen it. “Both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister are trying to choke Telangana to death. They joined hands to decimate the BRS, so they are our enemies and we must defeat them” he said.
