CHEVELLA: Telangana Pradesh Congress Comittee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the BRS Government, accusing it of failing to deliver on its promises and neglecting the development of the State.

Revanth Reddy was speaking at a public meeting in Chevella, where he promised that the Congress would bring development to the State if it came back to power.

"The BRS Government has not fulfilled its promise of bringing Krishna water to Kodangal, and haa also not completed the construction of Lakshmi Devi Palli Reservoir. The Government is neglecting the development of Ranga Reddy and Palamuru districts, and is selling lands in Ranga Reddy for thousands of crores and grabbing 40,000 acres in the name of Pharma SEZ," Revanth alleged.

The TPCC chief also promised that the Congress would provide free medical care up to Rs 5 lakh through Rajiv Arogyashri, and give a pension of Rs 4,000 on the first day of every month to the poor. He also promised to help the poor to build houses by giving them Rs 5 lakh.

Revanth called upon the party ranks and leaders to make the Praja Garjana Sabha a success. He said that the meeting would be a platform for the people of Chevella to express their anger against the BRS Government and to demand that the government fulfill its promises.
