Revanth Reddy directs DGP to tackle threats to Telangana's peace
The Chief Minister warned against attempts to harm Telangana's peace and Hyderabad's brand image.
HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed serious concern over the law and order situation in the state.
The Chief Minister claimed that some individuals, frustrated by losing power, were trying to disrupt peace and security in the region. He stated that conspiracies were being hatched to trouble the state government. He instructed DGP Dr Jitender to take serious action to maintain peace and security in Telangana. He warned that anyone attempting to harm the state's law and order or Hyderabad's brand image would face strict consequences.
The DGP, following the Chief Minister’s orders, is set to conduct a full review of the police machinery on Friday.
The Chief Minister made it clear that political conspiracies would not be tolerated, and the police should take stern measures against anyone disrupting peace in the state. He also pointed fingers at the BRS leaders, accusing them of damaging Hyderabad's reputation.
