HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday directed the officials of the irrigation department to provide comprehensive information about the

Medigadda project and the sinking of its piers. The Chief Minister, who held a review meeting with the officials of the irrigation sector, along with Irrigation Minister N Utthamkumar Reddy, discussed the current state of the irrigation sector and sought the details of the projects constructed by the previous government.

The meeting also addressed the arguments to be presented at the Krishna Tribunal concerning water disputes with other states and discussed the measures to be taken to prevent problems in the future. He also advised the officials to take necessary steps to provide water for Yasangi crops.

Giving advisory to the officials on the availability of water and other issues, Revanth Reddy emphasized the need to swiftly resolve inter-state water disputes and directed the officials to promptly furnish complete details regarding the topics discussed in the meeting.

The review meeting was attended by, ENC Muralidhar, and officials from the department.
