KODANGAL: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has said that the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy is a real estate broker who will sell away all plots in Kodangal if he is elected as an MLA from the constituency.

Speaking at a massive roadshow in Kodangal on Thursday, KTR slammed Revanth Reddy stating that he would be forced to withdraw his nomination after witnessing the immense support received by the BRS candidate Patnam Narendra Reddy.

KTR said that Revanth had the ability to purchase leaders but he wouldn't be able to buy people. Predicting that the TPCC president would go to jail soon, KTR asked the people whether they wanted a leader who would go to jail or someone who stayed with the people.

Responding to Revanth Reddy’s challenge asking Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to contest from Kodangal, KTR said that Patnam Narender Reddy who defeated Revanth Reddy in 2018 was qualified enough to beat him. Sharing that Revanth tried to poach four sarpanchs in Kodangal by offering them a bribe of of Rs 1 crore, KTR appreciated one of the sarpanches for rejecting Revanth's offer and alerting the police.

KTR also alleged that the BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were trying to suppress the voice of KCR and said that no matter how many Union leaders or Chief Ministers might be deployed in Telangana, KCR would fight them single-handedly like a lion.
