Rs. 100-cr IT Hub in Nalgonda ready; job mela to hire 500 people on September 1

NALGONDA: The IT Hub at Nalgonda built at a cost of Rs 98 crore is almost ready and the first ever job mela will be held on September 1. In all 15 companies have come forward to employ 500 young people in phase one of the employment drive.

According to Nalgonda MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy the job mela would be held at Lakshmi Gardens in Nalgonda town under the aegis of Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). A poster in this regard was unveiled recently at the district collectorate in the presence of Collector RV Karnan, TASK CEO Srikanth Sinha, and Municipal Chairman Saidi Reddy.

While the recruitment drive would start on September 1, the IT Hub would start functioning during the second week of September, the TASK Chairman said. Construction work on the IT Hub was completed in a record time of a year, almost one year ahead of the schedule.
