HYDERABAD: As part of the distribution of the Tenth season of Rythu Bandhu funds to the farmers across the Telangana state, the government has deposited Rs. 265.18 crores into the accounts of 1,51,468 farmers on the fifth day. The funds related to the 5,30,371.31 acres were disbursed into the farmers' accounts.

Meanwhile, Telangana Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy reiterated that the welfare schemes and development activities being carried out by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao were getting positive response from all sections across India. Saying that the farmers of Telangana used to migrate to other States due to lack of power and water in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, Niranjan Reddy said that farmers of the State were happy after formation of Telangana. The BRS government implemented various agriculture schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima and free electricity for the development of farmers, he said.

He claimed farmers of other states were wishing for BRS to come into power in their states for Telangana's schemes to be implemented there. "KCR's policy was to increase wealth and distribute it to the people and hence the Asara pensions were being distributed to 47.75 lakh people every month," the Minister said adding that Telangana was the only State that provided Kalyana Lakshmi kits to 11.55 lakh people and KCR kits to 12.66 lakh people. He said that the Gurukula schools predominantly increased from 298 in 2014 to 1201 today.

Stating that the Telangana government achieved significant growth in the fields of education, medicine, agriculture, and employment, Singireddy said that BRS would make a huge difference in the country's politics.
