KAMAREDDY: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that people of Telangana are waiting for November 30, 2023 to vote out Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his Government.

Campaigning for Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy in Kamareddy on Friday, Siddaramaiah said, "People of Telangana have decided to defeat KCR. Revanth Reddy is contesting in two seats will win both and defeat KCR with a huge majority.

"All of you know that KCR is trying to win elections by bribing voters but they have decided to defeat him," he said.

Targetting the BJP, Siddaramiah said, "According to my information, BJP can win upto a maximum of four to five. I am confident that even if Narendra Modi campaigns here for 100 times, BJP candidates are sure to lose their deposits. In fact, wherever Modi did road shows in Karnataka, Congress candidates won with a huge majority."

Sharing that he has never seen a Prime Minister lie so much, the Karnataka Chief Minister said, "The country's economy has taken a back seat after Modi became the Prime Minister. There is a loss of Rs 1,25,000 crore. People of Telangana will teach a fitting lesson to the BJP.

"He came to Telangana and organised a BC Mahasabha where he projected himself as a saviour of backward classes. But he hasn't carried out any programmes for them. Ironically it is because of Modi that they are still backward," he said.

Defending the guarantee schemes declared by the Congress, Siddaramiah said, "The Congress declared five guarantees for Karnataka. Modi and KCR said it was impossible to impelement it. But once the Government was formed in Karnataka, we implemented it in a week. Today, Karnataka has become strong financially after implementing the schemes. Modi is shaking with fear because of this.

"If KCR is saying that it is difficult to implement the guarantees, I will ask him to come and tour Karnataka and we will show him how we are implementing the schemes. Just like Karnataka, we will implement the schemes in Telangana. The Congress is the only party in the country which will provide justice to BCs, SCs an other marginalised communities," he said.
