HYDERABAD: Over the last 20 days, Rs. 377.68 crore worth of gold, silver, diamonds, and cash were seized in Telangana State following the implementation of the Modal Code of Conduct.
Telangana police seized 238.499 kg of gold, 1075.343 kg of silver, 19071.2576 carat diamonds, and 5.35 grams of platinum, worth Rs. 162 crore.
Police seized over 90,999.01 litres of liquor, all worth Rs. 28.84 crore, and Rs. 32.49 crore worth of items and freebies like laptops, phones, vehicles, fans, cookers, and sarees in the last 20 days.
The police seized 4231.486 kg of ganja, 0.3 litres of weed oil, 0.142 kg of MDMA drugs, 3.5 kg of heroine, and 774.17 kg of NDPS, all worth Rs. 18.18 crore and cash worth Rs. 136.09 crore from October 9 till October 28, 2023.
