HYDERABAD: Women voters dominated the list with as many as 1,63,02,261 electors over men in Telangana as per the electoral final list released by the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana on Wednesday.

As per the electoral final lists, there are as many as 1,63,13, 268 male voters in the State and the number of service voters stands at 15,406. The third gender electors are as many as 2,676, totaling the number of voters to over 3.26 crore voters in Telangana, the officials said.

Sharing the details about other voters in the State, the electoral officials said that the number of young voters (age 18-19) is 9,99,667, which is around 3.06 per cent of total electors. Apart from that, the State also has as many as 4,40,371 senior citizens (above 80 years). When it comes to overseas electors (NRI), there are as many as 2,944 and the number of PwD electors stood at 5,06,921, the officials said.

The Hyderabad district has a total of 45,36,852 voters. Serilingampally has as many as 7,32,560 voters, which is the highest in the State and Bhadrachalam has the lowest number of electors, which stands at 1,48, 713. Polling is scheduled for November 30, 2023 and counting will be done on December 3, the officials added.
