The SIT sleuths arrested him on Saturday for allegedly purchasing the question paper for the entrance examination for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers and in turn selling it to 20 others. The TSPSC question paper leakage scandal came to light in March 2023.

According to reports, DE Ramesh has been training AE job aspirants at a coaching centre located at RTC X Roads in Hyderabad.
