NIZAMABAD: In a shocking incident, an eighteen-year-old student died by suicide by jumping into Godavari River in Nizamabad after facing difficulties in studies.
The student, identified as Surya Teja from Nagepura village in Navipet mandal, completed his intermediate education recently and enrolled himself for EAMCET coaching. However, he struggled to comprehend the coaching material and shared his ordeal to his parents a day before the unfortunate incident.
His parents however adviced Surya to focus on studies which left Surya Teja dejected. He subsequently took the final plunge by jumping into the Godavari river.
The incident left the family and villagers in shock. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the student's tragic demise.
