Woman conductor assists in delivery on bus in Gadwal

GADWAL: During the Rakhi festival, a female conductor from the Gadwal depot demonstrated remarkable humanity by assisting in the delivery of a baby on a TGSRTC bus.

The pregnant woman, Sandhya, was travelling to Wanaparthy to tie Rakhi to her brothers when she suddenly went into labour near Nachahalli. The conductor, G. Bharathi, promptly stopped the bus and, with the help of a nurse on board, facilitated the delivery.

A healthy baby girl was born, and both mother and child were later taken to a local hospital via 108 services. They are currently reported to be in good health.
