Woman killed and chopped into pieces in Siddipet, probe begins

SIDDIPET: A woman was brutally murdered and chopped into pieces in Banda Mailaram of Mulug mandal at her residence.

According to details, the deceased was identified as Venkatamma (40), a widower residing in Bandamailaram along with her three children and making a living by selling plastic kitchenware. On Wednesday, unknown assailants broke into her house and slit her throat besides chopping off her legs from the body.

Gajwel ACP Ramesh, after receiving information, inspected the crime scene and registered a case. The police are investigating into the reason for murder. Meanwhile, body of the deceased was shifted to area hospital in Gajwel for postmortem.
