Air live Pub booked for violating High Court orders, seven arrested including MD

Telangana High Court ruled that no loud music should be played in bars between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad police booked the Air Live pub and apprehended seven people for allegedly disobeying the Telangana High Court's orders by causing a disturbance through noise pollution on Tuesday.

The Air Live Bar and Restaurant pub was found to be violating the Telangana High Court's orders when it was inspected by the SOT Madhapur Zone team and local police on Monday night. The pub is located at Sharath City Capital Mall within the boundaries of the Gachibowli PS of Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad.

Seven people were detained, including managers, singers, keyboardists, and MD Budhani Vinith. Speakers and sound systems were also seized. Later, the accused were handed over to the relevant PSs, along with the seized speakers and music systems.

A case was registered in accordance with Sections 188, 290 of the IPC, Sections 76 and 21 of the City Police Act, Section 3 of the Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Public Place of Halt/Public Entertainment/Amusement Rules of 2005 of the Gachibowli PS.

Telangana High Court recently instructed police to file criminal cases against such establishments for playing music without first obtaining the necessary licence from the relevant authorities. The court took a serious view of the loud music played by pubs in Hyderabad. Additionally, the High Court ruled that no loud music should be played in bars between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
