AMARAVATHI: Unemployed youth, who have been eagerly waiting for job opportunities for the past four years, have been dealt a blow as two important exams are scheduled to take place on the same day on February 25.

The State Bank of India Probationary Officers main examination is set to be conducted on the same day as the Group 2 examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

The State Bank of India PO exam’s preliminary results were recently released, and qualified candidates have been issued hall tickets for the mains exam, which is scheduled for February 25.

However, this has caused confusion and concern among candidates who have been diligently preparing for the Group 2 jobs, as they are now confronting a difficult choice between the two exams.

The candidates who have secured an opportunity in the bank main exam are deeply disappointed as they are unable to appear for the Group 2 exam.

It may be recalled that after a long wait, the APPSC finally released notifications for Group 1 and Group 2 exams. However, this clash of exam dates has left the unemployed youth in a dilemma, having to sacrifice one opportunity for the other.

The unemployed youth are urging the Andhra Pradesh government to respond and provide assistance to address this issue.
