BRS Peddapalli MP Venkatesh Neta joins Congress

After the joining, all leaders including KC Venugopal and CM Revanth Reddy paid a courtesy call on AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence.

NEW DELHI: BRS MP from Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency Venkatesh Neta joined the Congress party on Tuesday.

The BRS MP from the SC reserved Peddapalli Lok Sabha Constituency Dr Borlakunta Venkatesh Neta joined the Congress party. Unhappy with the “non-cooperative attitude” of BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao and his son KT Rama Rao, BRS MP Venkatesh resigned from the party and joined the Congress.

Venkatesh joined the Congress in the presence of AICC General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in New Delhi. KC Venugopal formally invited Venkatesh to the party by offering a scarf.

Former TTD Member from old Mahabubnagar district M Jeevan Reddy also joined the Congress in the presence of KC Venugopal and CM Revanth Reddy. Along with Jeevan Reddy, BRS leader Rahman and several leaders joined the party.

After the joining, all leaders including KC Venugopal and CM Revanth Reddy paid a courtesy call on AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence. The CM introduced Venkatesh and Jeevan Reddy to the AICC president. Kharge welcomed the BRS leaders for joining the Congress,

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, old Mahabubnagar MLAs -Yennam Srinivas Reddy (Mahbubnagar), Janampally Anirudh Reddy (Jadcharla), G Madhusudan Reddy (Devarakadra) Veerlapalli Shankar ( Shadnagar) and Special Representative of the State Government in Delhi, Dr. Mallu Ravi, former minister G Chinna Reddy, CWC special invitee Challa Vamsichand Reddy and others participated.
