AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy has reportedly reacted furiously to the scandal involving the party's Hindupur MP Gorantla Madhav.

With the party's image at stake, YS Jagan is said to have taken a very serious note of the turn of events ever since a video went viral. It is speculated that Madhav could be axed from the YSRCP at any moment, in a clear indication of how the party is viewing the entire controversy.

Madhav is accused of flashing obscenely at a woman in an alleged nude video call. The Hindupur MP however vehemently denied being involved in the scandal and threatened to file a defamation suit.

Action against Madhav if found guilty: Sajjala

Earlier on Thursday, the YSRCP reacted to the video scandal, clearly indicating the mood within the party. Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor and YSRCP General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy asserted that action would be initiated against Madhav if he was found guilty.

He said that an investigation would be conducted as per law and truth would come out of it. "A private matter became viral outside. MP Gorantla Madhav has denied his involvement. An investigation will take place to unearth the truth. When an anti-social matter becomes viral, our actions shall speak louder than our words. As a party committed to women's welfare, we will take action against the MP if he is found guilty," Ramakrishna Reddy said.
