AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a review on Monday on 'Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam' (Taking governance to every doorstep) initiative. regional coordinators, district presidents, MLAs and other functionaries attended the meeting. The chief minister issued guidelines to the attendees on the ways to take the programme forward in an effective manner.

He issued key orders and said that Rs two crore funds have been allocated for the development of each constituency. Jagan instructed the party leaders to visit six to seven village/ward secretariats every month. He said that Rs 20 lakh would be granted to solve the problems in each secretariat. The district collectors will provide the funds immediately after the visit to the Secretariat, he stated.

Here is a list of chief minister's directions on the initiative:

● Ensuring quality from time to time is vital in the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthavam programme.

● We have brought in many reforms in administration and have taken many measures to increase the standard of living of the people.

● We have implemented many schemes and undertaken development works.

● Lakhs of families in the state look up to us.

● To do justice to be and fulfill their aspirations further, we must return to power with better results.

● We have achieved excellent results in panchayat and municipal elections in the Kuppam constituency.

● We have provided schemes to 87 percent of the families in the state.

● MLAs too will have to work hard.

● We implement welfare schemes to all without any discrimination and corruption. The fruits of the schemes are delivered directly to the beneficiaries' accounts at the click of a button.

● It is the responsibility of the MLAs to take the welfare schemes forward.

● Allocation of Rs 20 lakhs for priority works in each Secretariat.

● This money is to be spent on priority works considering the requests received from the people during the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthavam programme.

● We will give money in advance to the district collectors towards the works in the secretariats where the MLAs should be making visits every month.

● As per the earlier instructions on the allocation of Rs.2 crores to MLAs, we have also given a grant today under Constituency Development Fund to MLAs from Chief Minister's Development Fund (CMDF). This is in addition to the funds allocated to the Secretariats.

● I took up the challenge of allocating Rs.20 lakhs to each secretariat and getting things done.

● All the leaders have to take this initiative forward effectively

● MLAs should visit seven secretariats every month as part of the programme.

● Leaders should participate in the programme for at least 16 days and, in the next month, to a maximum of 21 days.
