HYDERABAD: The Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) , which will have the latest technology for better coordination between all Government departments like the GHMC, Fire, Electricity, Water and others during emergencies, natural or man-made, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on August 4.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, who recently paid a visit to the ICCC, directed officials of the R&B department, GHMC, TS Transco, L&T and others involved in the construction works, which were ongoing for seven years, to complete the project as soon as possible. He also allocated works to specific officers to ensure that the works are completed soon.

According to sources, the West Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police was asked to take responsibility for the arrangements of the inauguration which would be attended by several dignitaries and senior officials.

The 6.42 lakh sq ft building was being built on Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, in a seven-acre land parcel. The Rs 585 crore building would have five towers.

State Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashant Reddy, who visited the ICCC on Thursday, said that arrangements were being made for visitors to get a bird's eye view of the city from the 14th flood of the Police Command Control Center.

He also reviewed the main entrance, portico, grand entry, auditorium, and floor vice works. He asked the officials and the contractor to increase the manpower and complete the remaining work before the inauguration ceremony.

The building would also have a museum which would display everything related to the police.

The Minister was accompanied by DGP Mahender Reddy, City CP CV Anand, R&B ENC Ganapathi Reddy, MLA Jeevan Reddy, MLC Kaushik Reddy and many R&B, police officers and construction company representatives.
